If you want to experience log cabin living before you buy, or if you are just looking for a place to enjoy your favorite pastime, please consider a stay at our cabin in beautiful Northern Wisconsin.

You will find all the comforts of home at our cabin we call the Wild Ridge Lodge. Wild Ridge is located on beautiful Sailor Creek near the town of Park Falls, the ruffed grouse capital of the world. It's a quiet and secluded spot on land that borders the 65,000 acres of the Chequamegon National Forest.

Wild Ridge Lodge

You pick the season and you'll find almost any activity available to you in the area. Explore the hiking trails through the national forest, canoe the Flambeau River or enjoy the simple pleasure of sunsets from the front porch. Hunt for deer, bear and grouse, or, fish the famous Turtle Flambeau Flowage or any number of great musky and walleye lakes. You have direct access to ATV and snowmobile trails right from the front door. There are cross-country skiing trails also.

Driveway

If sight-seeing is on your agenda, a drive through the area with fall colors can't be matched. The cabin is located within an hour of several of the area's popular destinations, including: Hayward with the fishing hall of fame and the lumberjack championships. Minocqua's shopping and wonderful restaurants and to the north, Ashland and Bayfield on the shore of Lake Superior. If casinos are your destination, there are 3 within an hour's drive. Return home from a day of exploring and end it in front of a crackling fire in the massive stone fireplace.
